Brian Koop has spent the last 30 plus years in sales and marketing, with a focus on agricultural equipment, products, and technology. Not a surprising niche for someone who grew up on a family farm in Saskatchewan.

Brian believes that work can be play, and alongside a 31-year career in telecommunications, he ran multiple entrepreneurial projects. He’s grown businesses in landscaping, marketing and promotion materials, irrigation systems, and consulting services for inventors.

What underpins all of this is a passion for building things. From his own businesses, to beautifully designed decks and ornate jewelry boxes, to building relationships with business owners and helping them put together their plans – Brian brings it all together.

It’s this building mentality that makes Brian such a valued member of the Green Aero Tech team. Brian’s excitement and expertise in seeing products being developed and brought to market are why he’s our Business Development Manager for Alberta.

“Green Aero Tech has the vision, ability, and team to really scale their business concept,” Brain explains. “They offer a valuable service, on the cutting edge of technology, and it’s exciting to be part of that. For the people I connect with in Alberta, it’s about explaining how this technology can help solve their business challenges or improve existing processes.”

Brian doesn’t limit his building projects to North America. He’s volunteered in Haiti with his son, David, to help build schools and a computer lab. We’re proud to have a freethinker and idea generator like Brian on our team.
