Pre-work:

It is recommended (but not required) that you view some or all of DJI’s T50 Tutorial Videos to help you better understand what the typical operations are and what to expect of our course.

Please bring the following items:

  • Suitable clothing and accessories for outdoor training *
  • Laptop or similar device running Windows 10+ (optional)
  • Copy of Pilot Certificate (Basic or Advanced) if already obtained
  • Copy of Government-issued ID (if needing to take the Advanced Flight Review)
  • Personal Drone (under 25kg) for training, or we can provide unit(s)
  • Your DJI SmartRC for T50 (optional)
  • Any farm field boundaries / data for real-world simulation examples on your farm

Lunch and refreshments will be provided throughout the class day(s). Please advise beforehand if any allergies or dietary constraints.

** To obtain an Advanced Drone Pilot license, you must first successfully complete the Advanced exam as per https://tc.canada.ca/en/aviation/drone-safety/drone-pilot-licensing

You will be provided with a free Drone Pilot Flight Review (for Advanced) if you have passed this exam.

Drone Serial is 14+ digit number and starts with a 6 or 7, and can be found on the side frame of your drone or on the outside box sticker. Only applicable to Agras drones, do not enter serials for Mavic or other units.
